We’re Flipping Out

The recent tragedies in Virginia and Texas are far less isolated than any of us are led to believe. Connecting the dots threatens the dominion of many powerful, vested institutions. Here’s what they’d prefer you never knew.

Not long ago I received an email from Tom Kenyon that included an April 15th message he had received from the Hathors, a multi-dimensional extraterrestrial intelligence imparting information to help humankind cope with the impending shift. The first two paragraphs sent chills through me:

“You are on the brink of an escalation of intergalactic energies coming to you from deep space. As we have indicated in previous communications, this wave activity, related to the expansion of consciousness, is on the rise. Specifically, the expansion of consciousness has to do with a greater awareness of the subtleties and complexities of your life as terrestrial beings, but also as intergalactic and inter-dimensional beings.

“One of the effects of these waveforms of energy from deep space is an increase in volatility – emotional volatility. As these waveforms increase in both number and intensity, they will increase irritability, sleep disturbances, irrational thoughts and behaviors. These will most likely be acted out between individuals, but also collectively.”

These words came a scant few hours before Seung-Hui Cho, a deeply disturbed South Korean student at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia, shot and killed thirty-two people before ending his own life. Scores of armchair psychologists and Monday morning quarterbacks soon filled the airwaves with theories of how the tragedy might have been averted. If only earlier warnings were heeded; if only gun laws were more severe so the young man could not have bought the murder weapon – or more lax so other students could have been armed and defended themselves; if only others had shown more compassion; if only. . . .

Five days later, William Phillips, a contract worker at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, smuggled a snub-nose revolver into the high-security facility and killed a fellow worker before taking his own life.

To the world, these two isolated incidents were perhaps coincidental but otherwise unrelated. However, Tom’s reflections at the end of his email, which included clarifying information garnered from his Hathor guides, strongly suggest otherwise:

“… As they (the Hathors) say in the message, the consciousness-inducing waves coming to us from deep space are now increasing in both frequency and strength (amplitude). The current wave that prompted them to give this message began to arrive in our solar system late in the evening of April 12th. This wave will last for approximately nine days (until April 21st). They told us to watch the news during this period, as there would be increases in irrational behavior, destructiveness, and anomalies in our weather, and indeed there have been.

“Shortly afterward, a new series of waves will pass through our solar system and our Earth. According to them, each successive wave (with a few exceptions) will be stronger than the previous ones. In other words, we are not off the hook on April 21st. There will be wave after wave of consciousness-stimulating energy that will pass through our world for years to come – that’s years to come, not months.

“There are many ways to look at the effects of these [waves] from deep space. On one hand, they are evolutionary catalysts that can free up immense personal and collective energy. The Hathors use the metaphor of opening the doors to our personal prisons – prisons being defined as our ways of living in relationship with our selves, with each other, and with the Earth. If we are going to survive as a species, we must change how we are living. Period. End of sentence.

“This is a great potential being unleashed, but it is also extremely disorienting. Perhaps you have experienced some of these side effects for yourself—sleep disturbances, an increase of irrational thoughts, unusual feelings of despair and/or desperation, extreme sudden and unexplainable fatigue, as well as emotional volatility.”

The Hathors are but one of a host of sources putting humankind on notice that we are in the throes of a momentous event. This is not a rehash of previous historical and geological cycles; this is not a dress rehearsal. It is the main event that all of us currently living on this planet have come here to experience.

There is no Seung-Hui Cho, no William Phillips separate from the rest of us. Their doubts, fears, and frustrations are not strangers to our own psyches. To date, most of us have found the strength to keep these feelings in check. But if what Kenyon and the Hathors suggest is true, succeeding waves of energy are likely to intensify. Each of us stands at a point of decision that will determine our destiny: will we resist inflowing energies by clinging ever more tightly onto our old beliefs, or will we open ourselves to new possibilities that even our ancient sacred texts may not know?

I write and speak on these subjects often. If you want to know more about why the world is coming unhinged and why people you know and love may be struggling emotionally, physically, or spiritually, I invite you to review some of my recent columns, especially Surviving the Shift and Release Your Ties, Then Lift Off.

In a quote attributed to both Benjamin Franklin and Albert Einstein, insanity is defined as “Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” Those currently in charge of the world’s major religious and political institutions – the very ones whose ill-conceived doctrines have driven humanity into a worldwide economic, social, and ecological civil war – are saying that if we obey more devoutly, hand over even more of our personal power, and relinquish all our heretical questioning, all will soon be right with the world. I wonder what Ben and Albert would say to that?

It takes courage to give up one’s current level of reality, even if it is riddled with doubt and pain. How long will we, the battered wives and husbands of this illusion, remain silent?
